Its thinness (8.5mm) and remarkable handling will facilitate the descent of lighter users while maintaining the characteristics of a type B certified rope. Its great maneuverability allows light climbers to move easily and its reduction in water shrinkage of over 50% makes it an ideal partner in wet caves. The UNICORE process permanently bonds the sheath to the core prevents any slippage of one over the other. Should the sheath get torn due to abrasion, it still remains glued to the core without any slippage. This allows the user to escape either on his way up or down.
